Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is considering a move for As Roma captain, Edin Dzeko. Reports from Italy confirmed that Spur’s scouts were in Milan to watch the former Manchester City player against inter Milan on Friday.
Spurs Captain, Harry Kane has played all but one of league matches this season, a 1-1 draw against Leceister City, a match he missed through illness. He has also made five appearances in the Champions League.
Since the departure of Llorente to Napoli in the summer, Spurs are left with only Harry Kane as the first team striker.
Son and Lucas Moura have been deployed to play in the center forward position this season, and Manager, Jose Mourinho has confirmed interest in another target man as a permanent replacement for Harry Kane.
Dzeko spent four years with Manchester City. He scored 72 goals and registered 39 assists in 189 appearances for the Citizen.
The 33-year-old has continued his impressive form since joining As Roma in 2015, he has risen to number 4 in all-time top scorer for the Italian side.
Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Harry Kane will play no part in the game against Bayern Munich and teenage striker, Troy Parrot is expected to get minutes in the absence of the captain.
