Manchester United are set to offer highly-rated goalkeeper Dean Henderson a new contract. ESPN claims that the Red Devils are set to offer the Sheffield United stopper and left-back Brandon Williams new contracts.
Henderson is regarded as one of the best young stoppers in the Premier League and has been one of the revelations of the season. His performances have seen some fans suggest that he could replace club legend David De Gea in goal.
Williams meanwhile has forced his way into the Manchester United first team and has the trust of gaffer Ole Gunner Solskjaer. He has overtaken Luke Shaw in the pecking order making 25 appearances this season.
Both players current deals expire in 2022 but United are not willing to take risks and are looking to secure their longterm futures. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has continued the tradition of the club with regards academy players.
This season has seen a number of players offered new deals including Marcus Rashford. Williams and Henderson are the future of the club and United faithful would be delighted with the news.
