Liverpool are ready for their second business of the January transfer window. They already signed Minamino from Salzburg, and are not ready to rest as they look forward to bring Nigerian, Victor Osimehen from Lille.
Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has requested the scout report on the starlet’s progress in Ligue 1. He is expected to make the final call in the early weeks of January on the player.
Victor Osimehen scored 20 goals for Belgian side, Charleroi last season. A feat that made Lille splash the cash on him to bring him to France. He has continued his goalscoring form this season as he has scored 10 League goals for Lille winning the October player of the month in the process.
Lille are reportedly resigned to losing the Nigerian in the near future, but they are prepared to hold on to him for a little longer, till at least the summer window.
The Former Wolfsburg player signed a five year deal with Lille last summer as a replacement for Gunners bound Nicolas Pepe.
Liverpool are not the only team interested in the player as Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea among other Premier League clubs in the race to sign the player.
