Chelsea have reportedly highlighted three players that could improve the club in January. The Blues had their two-window transfer ban halved by the Court Of Arbitration for Sports last week and have immediately begun the search for reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window.
It is understood that manager Frank Lampard wants to sign the trio of Wilfred Zaha, Ben Chilwell and Jadon Sancho. Wilfred Zaha is one player that the former Derby manager believes can bring quality to the team with his creativity and attacking qualities.
The Crystal Palace forward is regarded as one of the top wingers in the League and has been linked with moves away from the club. Chilwell is also a highly sought after player with the left-back impressing for Leicester City this season.
Club captain Ceaser Azpilicueta had to play on the left in their last game at Everton and Lampard is looking to resolve this issue with the transfer of the English defender. Sancho meanwhile is seen as the marquee signing that could lead the club to titles in the next few years.
The Borussia Dortmund forward has struggled this season but is widely regarded as one of the top youngsters in World football. It would be interesting to see if the Blues would be able to make these three big-money signings.
