Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to sell two fullbacks to land PSG defender Thomas Meunier.
Meunier’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs out on June 30 and is soon expected to become a free agent after the French Ligue 1 was abandoned due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The Times says Mourinho is willing to sell Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters to sign Meunier at the end of the season. The Portuguese tactician is keen on signing a top-class fullback and is willing to sell the duo in order to create space and raise funds for the France international.
Aurier has been unreliable during his time at White Hart Lane despite his immense potentials while Walker-Peters has not displayed the qualities required at a top club like Spurs.
Meunier enjoyed a successful stint in France netting 13 goals and 21 assists in 128 appearances which resulted in three League titles. German side Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with a transfer for the defender.
