Barcelona are still keen on the services of Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele The Frenchman has dominated the news in recent weeks with Barca sporting director Eric Abidal reportedly keen on his signing.
The Catalan giants recently concluded a swap deal with Juventus for Miralem Pjanic with Arthur Melo moving the opposite direction. This had been seen in some quarters as the end of their interest in Ndombele.
However, L’Equipe claims that Barcelona are still keeping tabs on the midfielder with the prospects of bringing him to Spain next season. Spurs are open to sell the defender but only for the record fee of €60m they paid Lyon for the midfielder a year ago.
Ndombele is thought to be keen on an exit from White Hart Lane after falling out with manager Jose Mourinho. At his best the midfielder is capable of dominating the midfield and has technical ability despite his size.
This transfer looks like one that would be drawn out all summer with reports that French giants PSG are also in the mix.
