Manchester United target Arthur Melo has rejected the chance to join Juventus in the summer. The Brazilian has been linked with a move out of Barcelona in the summer with several clubs monitoring his situation.
Spanish tabloid Marca claims that the midfielder has rejected a contract offer of €5 million-per-year from the Italian giants. Arthur has been unable to recreate the form that saw him one of the most coveted players some seasons ago.
It is understood that Manchester United are interested in the midfielder but he has no wishes to leave the Catalan club. United are in the market for a young midfielder that can compliment the duo of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba. Arthur is known for his excellent passing and creativity on the ball and can play different roles in the midfield.
Arthur has been in and out of Barca’s line up this season, but he is determined to stay and fight for a place in Quique Setien’s set up. This transfer is one that we would be monitoring as it could have a few twists and turns in the coming weeks.
