Liverpool are unwilling to pay a huge fee for highly-rated winger Jadon Sancho according to reports from England. Borussia Dortmund are open to selling the exciting winger and have placed an asking price of £100 million.
Sancho is regarded as one of the best young midfielders in the game and has been linked in recent months with a switch to England. Liverpool rivals Manchester United are also thought to be monitoring his situation and are preparing a bid for the player.
The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool are pulling back from the move as they believe that the valuation is high. The Reds also backed away from Leipzig forward Timo Werner following differences in valuation.
It is understood that this decision would leave Manchester United as the sole contender for the 20-year-old. Sancho is a game-changer and would offer an alternative to the established trio of Mohammed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
This transfer is one that is expected to have a few twists in the coming weeks as the season gradually comes to an end.
