Dele-Bashiru is regarded as one of the top talents in the City youth ranks and there are high hopes that he could develop into the next star.
Manchester City are said to be keen on keeping the youngster but there could be competitions for his signature. It is believed that there are offers from three clubs in the Championship and Dele-Bashiru could be swayed by the prospects of regular football.
Manchester City under Guardiola have offered playing time for academy players in lesser competitions like the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. Phil Foden is also the poster boy for the Academy as he has been able to break into the first team after excelling through the ranks.
Dele-Bashiru’s contract expires next summer and City still have time to convince the midfielder to renew with the club. It remains to be seen whether the 19-year-old would be given the opportunity to break into the starting line up in the coming weeks.
