Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin is stalling on a new deal according to latest reports. The Spaniard who is the oldest player at the club is believed to be mauling other offers. The Mirror says that Inter Milan are interested in the defender with Antonio Conte a huge fan of the fullback.
Arsenal are keen for the defender to sign an extension to his current contract but Bellerin is in no rush to commit to his current terms which expire in 2023. This has left the door open for a potential move for the highly-rated defender.
Bellerin is a fans favourite at the Emirates with the player having passed through the youth ranks before breaking into the first team. His loyalty to the club has been commendable despite repeated links to Barcelona and PSG.
However, the lack of Champions League football in recent seasons could be the major reason for this decision and Bellerin could be right to wait before committing to a new deal. The pacy fullback is rated at around £27million and would prove to be a huge loss for the Gunners if he leaves in the summer.
